Flooding in Lagos Part 2

Today Dec 22nd 2020 Flooding in Lagos still continued the heavy rain has covered all of the roads and has claimed lots of properties and lives. Again the government ought to take actions to prevent flooding events like this from occurring but sadly the are busy looting the nations funds. 

To date, flooding in Lagos is characterized by severe consequences, which raise concerns about a lack of early warning and evacuation systems. Impacts from flooding are compounded by population density and the upward trends of urban growth in the area. Also, flood water depth, inundation extent and duration as well as water flow velocity play contributory roles.
